Find exact duplicates without moving, deleting or uploading your local files. Scan folders individually, including USB/external drives. Google Drive scan covers files accessible under the current PhotoSetu authorization, not your entire Drive.

Only photos and videos are checked. Files ending in supplemental-metadata.json are listed separately, never treated as duplicate media.

    Google Drive Trash does not immediately free storage. Baseline is the sum of scanned media file sizes, not your Google account's total used space. Local files cannot be deleted here.

    Local files are read-only. Only explicitly approved and reverified Google Drive copies can be moved to Trash; no permanent deletion. Google Photos full-library scanning is not supported by Google's current API; selected exports may be scanned locally.
